Shian:
January 21, 1990-September 9, 2003, was the foundation and matriarch
of the Keen-Eye line. With her exceptional desire to please and
her natural talent on stock, both sheep and cattle, she was the
ideal working dog and companion. Having over 60 commands on her,
she showed a quick mind and a big heart. Shian won numerous trials
in both sheep and cattle over the years. Her retirement run was
the 1999 Canadian Championship where she came in 8th overall and
won best 'shed' (splitting off marked sheep). She has produced many
children and grandchildren, and her genetics of honesty, high desire
to please, and a lot of working talent run through the Keen-Eye
line. With MacPherson's Zac, Longton's Gyp and Bosworth's Coon in
her linage she proved true to her breeding. She will be missed.

Cody,
born June 27, 1996, is a top working cattle and sheep dog. He won
B.C.'s Cattle Dog of the Year in Pro-Novice when just one year old.
He has no fear and will move any stock no matter how challenging.
His boundless enthusiasm makes him a favorite in the many rodeo
and fair performances he does.
When
working sheep, he loves to be the one to open the pen gate to put
the sheep in and slams it shut behind them. It has been said of
him "He is a little man in a dog costume!"
Many
of his offspring have his speed and precision making a name for
themselves on cattle and sheep ranches, stock competitions and in
agility and other sports.

Keen-Eye
Teag,
born November 25, 1997 is a daughter of Shian and Cody. At the age
of just 9 months she was doing performances at fairs and rodeos,
together with her two parents, taking her every command.
Her
attitude right from the start was, "Just show me what you want
and I will do it". With her speed and stamina, coupled with
precision and instant response to commands, she is a delight to
work. She has never backed down to any stock, loving a challenge,
but is kind to her sheep.
She
competes in Open sheep dog trials and does very well. She has intensity
and focus, yet when off the stock she is laid back and affectionate.
Very versatile, Keen-Eye Teag's offspring have excelled in many
different lifestyles, as both cattle and sheep dogs, agility, and
Schutzhund, always giving 100%.
