The Keen-Eye Guarantee
All
dogs born out of Keen-Eye Kennels with the prefix Keen-Eye name
will be guaranteed against:
1. The eye disorder of PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and
CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly) for the life of the dog. Should the
dog be proven by a certified veterinarian to be diagnosed as
having either of these genetic eye disorders, the owner of the
dog will be given a replacement of a registered Border Collie
pup from a Keen-Eye breeding.
2. Hip dysplasia, providing proof from a certified veterinarian's
x-ray examination (with a rating of poor to fail) up to the
dog's third birthday. If this is the case, the owner of the
pup will be provided with a Border Collie pup from a Keen-Eye
breeding.
3. Working instinct is also guaranteed. Guarantee will hold
for two years beginning at 12 months old. If after a 4-week
assessment, the said pup proves to lack a working instinct,
the owner will receive a registered Keen-Eye pup replacement.
Should the said pup be proven to have working instinct, the
owner will pay Keen-Eye Kennels for the assessment.
The owner must be the original owner/purchaser of the pup.
The owner does not have to surrender the pup to receive a replacement pup but must provide proof of neuter/spaying of the said pup.
All Keen-Eye pups come with a 10% discount for training done at the Keen-Eye Training Centre for the life of the dog.
